The Introduction to Politics Course is a six-week program for Nigerian Citizens who are interested in knowing the basics about politics. This course comprises modules based on an introductory knowledge to politics, nature and knowledge of politics, the concept of a state, constitutionalism, basic political concepts and the understanding of International Relations and organizations.  We are looking to democratize political education and train Nigerian citizens between the ages of 18-35.

The course runs for a period of Six weeks and 1-2 hours dedicated to Class Discussions weekly

Who is Eligible To Apply?

• A Nigerian Citizen between the age of 18-35
• Passionate about changing the Political Discourse
• Interested in shaping political conversations

At the end of this course, you should:

• Be able to understand the basics of politics
• Be able to highlight and discuss on basic concepts of politics in relations to Nigeria
• Be able to understand your role as a citizen in understanding politics

Tools needed:

• All discussions are done virtually
• A Google Meet and Google Classroom apps or on the web. Live classes will be hosted on Google Meet and Google Classroom will be where class modules and assessment will be shared

To get a certificate, you must:

• Commit between 1-2 hours weekly for class discussions
• Complete Weekly Modules and Assessments as at when due
• Work with a Peer to present one project 
• Attend one workshop during the creation of the course
• Actively Participate in all sessions

Certificates will only be given to participants who actively participate in the above.
